2013 Annual Meeting of China Association of Regional Economics, co-hosted by Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU), the China Association of Regional Economics (CARE) and People’s Government of Dazu District, Chongqing, and undertaken by National Research Center of Upper Yangtze Economy, Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Science of Ministry of Education of CTBU, was held on Sep. 14, 2013 in Dazu. Over 170 officials, experts and scholars, from relevant departments of the State andChongqing,ChinaAcademy of Social Science (CASS) and Universities attended the meeting. Representatives of the meeting had in-depth exchanges of views on regional economic topics such asChina’s market economy developments, urbanization process, and the cross- boundary development projects amongSichuan,GuizhouandChongqing.
